Hobart Orofacial Pain and Special Needs Clinic Update July 2020

Dr Tony Eldridge returned to the Army full time in Jan 2019 as a General Service Officer in the Civil Military Cooperation Group of the 2nd Division. As a result, he is regularly deployed or interstate on courses, exercises, attending planning groups, or other related ADF activities. Recent deployments have included participating in the ADF response to the Floods in QLD, Bushfires in NSW and COVID taskforce in TAS, ACT, and NSW.

Unfortunately this has meant ceasing regular practice in Hobart throughout 2019 and the first half of 2020. This includes any sedation treatment and for those persons requiring dental or oral surgery treatment in a dental clinic. Hospital services remain available.

However,  we are happy to announce that on a limited availability Dr Tony Eldridge has opened a home office for consulting and treatment of TMJ / Orofacial Pain / Headaches, Oral Medicine, and Snoring and Sleep Apnoea. This is for previous patients of Hobart Orofacial Pain and Special Needs Clinic, and for new patient referrals.

Appointments will be at a reduced availability dependent on ADF commitments throughout the year and subject to strict schedules during week days. The home office will allow a no fuss, very relaxed, unhurried and comfortable setting in which to conduct all consults and required treatment. All appointments will be an extremely personalised one on one service.

All new and existing patients are requested to contact us by email with all of our contact details remaining unchanged. They are:

All new referrals are to be sent to the above email address.
